Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Stir the spices and salt. Pat the salmon dry and coat both sides.
  2. Heat a cast-iron skillet until it smokes lightly. Add the oil.
  3. Cook the salmon 3 to 4 minutes a side, until the crust is dark and the center flakes.

Notes
