Ratio

Three, two, one: prosecco, Aperol, soda.

Ice

Plenty. A warm spritz tastes flabby.

Orange

A slice, not a squeeze of juice. Juice clouds it.

Glass

A wine glass. A coupe spills the ice.

Nutrition (estimated)

FAQ

Prosecco or champagne?

Prosecco. Champagne is sharper and costs more than this drink needs.

No Aperol?

This drink is Aperol. A different amaro makes a different spritz.

Sweeter or drier?

More soda makes it drier. More Aperol makes it sweeter and more bitter.

Pitcher?

Mix Aperol and prosecco just before pouring. Add soda in the glass.
