Ice

Enough to make it spoonable. Too much and it tastes watery.

Cream

Shake the can. The thick part is what you want.

Frozen pineapple

Swap 1 cup of the ice for frozen chunks.

No blender

Shake rum, cream, and juice hard and serve over crushed ice. It will be thinner.

FAQ

Coconut rum?

You can use it, and then cut the coconut cream in half.

Dairy free

Coconut cream already is.

Pitcher

Blend just before serving. It separates as it sits.

Sweet

Pineapple juice is the sugar. Do not add syrup unless the juice is tart.
