Sugar

Superfine dissolves faster. Regular sugar needs a longer stir.

Lime

Wedges, skin on. The oil is the aroma.

Ice

Crushed ice fits the glass better.

FAQ

No cachaca?

White rum is the stand-in, and the drink is no longer a caipirinha.

Sweetness

Two teaspoons. Taste before you add a third.

Glass

A short rocks glass.
