Description
Baked Cod. From Olivia.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cod fillets, about 6 ounces (170g) each
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup (40g) breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- salt and pepper
- lemon wedges
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the cod dry and set it in a buttered dish. Season it.
- Stir breadcrumbs with butter, lemon, and parsley. Scatter over the fish.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until the fish flakes and the crumbs are gold.
Notes
Cod is done when it flakes. A longer bake squeezes the moisture out.
