Sugar rim

Only the outside of the rim, or it falls in.

Syrup

Balances the lemon. Without it the drink is harsh.

Ice

Fresh ice in the glass if you serve it on the rocks. This one is up.

Twist

Express the oil over the top.

Nutrition (estimated)

About 320 calories per serving. Estimate only, not a lab test.

That is a different drink. Keep the vodka.

Glass

A chilled coupe or martini glass.

Sweetness

Add a teaspoon of syrup if your lemons are sharp.
