Tequila
Blanco stays bright. Reposado makes it rounder and less like soda.
Soda
Cold soda. Warm soda goes flat as it hits the ice.
Salt
A pinch wakes the grapefruit. A heavy rim tastes like a snack.
Glass
A highball. A coupe kills the bubbles.

FAQ
Juice instead of soda?
Use 2 ounces grapefruit juice and 2 ounces club soda.
Salt rim?
Optional. A pinch in the drink is enough.
Mezcal?
It makes a smokier Paloma. Use the same amount.
Batch?
Mix tequila, lime, and salt. Add soda in the glass so it stays fizzy.
