Bubbles

Add the water last so it stays sharp.

Lime

Fresh. Bottled lime tastes like candy.

Tequila

Blanco. A sweet reposado fights the lime.

Ice

Fill the glass. A short pour of ice makes a warm drink.

FAQ

Soda with sweetener?

Then it is not ranch water. Keep it unsweetened.

Grapefruit?

That turns it toward a Paloma. This one is lime only.

Batch?

Tequila and lime in a pitcher. Sparkling water in the glass.

Salt?

A tiny pinch is optional. A salted rim is a margarita habit.
